Jason June hat einen humorvollen, unterhaltsamen und authentischen Jugendroman geschrieben, der essentielle Themen aufgreift und erzählt, wie es wohl vielen queeren Jugendlichen geht. Dabei setzt June nicht auf den sympathischsten Protagonisten, überzeugt dafür mit humorvollen Nebenfiguren und ständigen Wendungen. Der Lesespass ist gross und die aufgegriffenen Themen wie das erste Mal, die LGBTQ+ Community und ganz alltägliche Herausforderungen als Teenager. Ich vergebe 3.5 von 5 Sterne und empfehle euch das Buch, wenn ihr ähnliche Bücher wie Küsse im Sommerregen sind auch nur nass, In all seinen Farben oder Love, Simon sucht.
Ist «Jay’s Gay Agenda» von Jason June empfehlenswert? Ja. Eine unterhaltsame LGBTQ+ Teen RomCom über die ersten Male als schwuler Jugendlicher.
